Suck it Trebek!

My ancient install of Moveable Type had slowly been coughing up blood, becoming less and less structurally sound.   So we have moved to WordPress, since MT seems to have become less suitable for a casual blogger like myself.  Evidently one of the symptoms of my decaying MT infrastructure was the the post count had become inacurate, so this means I have a bit more plunking away at the keyboard before post 1000 becomes a reality.  I’m a little suspicious that MT lost some of my older posts, because I’m pretty sure I had stuff before 2002, but that’s okay, I’m not going to worry about it and just move forward.

I’ve played around with WP before, but this is my first serious go at it.  So far I’m liking it, and I may even try to modify the site layout with one of their handy-dandy templates.  We’ll see.  A special thanks to D who did all the work so that I can spout nonsense onto my own special spot of the Internet.

As you may have noticed, things are changing around here. Jeff’s random image script is up and running again and the Stars-related stuff is gone. In the next couple days, the colors may be changing a little bit and the images will be modified for size.
